Description
Sony is about to release a slimmer version of the PS5, although they’re not calling it the “PS5 Slim.” It’s simply referred to as the “new PS5.” This updated version is 18% lighter for the Digital model and 24% lighter for the Disc drive model. Internally, it’s mostly the same, but it now has a larger 1TB SSD compared to the original 825GB SSD.
One significant change is the addition of an external disc drive, allowing you to play physical games on the Digital Edition. This means you can buy the cheaper digital version and add a disc drive later if needed.
